2008 Horizon League Tournament Bracket in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill. - UIC women's basketball sophomore Jessie Miller received All-Horizon League Second Team honors, announced by the league office on Monday morning.

Miller, a two-time All-Horizon League recipient, was recognized for her performance this season after averaging a team-best 13.8 points and 3.2 assists per game.

The guard ranks in seven league statistical categories, including fourth in three-pointers made (2.1), ninth in scoring (13.2) and tenth in assists (3.2).

Miller currently owns fourth place in the UIC single-season record book with 63 treys. The sophomore also ranks ninth with 98 career three-pointers.

The sophomore scored a career-high 27 points in a 62-59 victory over Milwaukee at Klotsche Center on Jan. 23. Miller has also drained a career-high five three-pointers on two occasions this season.

The eighth-seeded Flames face ninth-seeded Loyola in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament tonight at 7 p.m. CST at the Pavilion.
