Prior to UIC: 2006-07 NJCAA First Team All-American for South Suburban College in South Holland, Ill...averaged 15.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in his lone season for the Bulldogs...guided South Suburban to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament for the first time in 10 seasons, where the Bulldogs finished seventh in the country...earned NJCAA Region IV-A First Team accolades and MVP honors in the Region IV-A Tournament...seven-time Player of the Week honoree...became just the third All-American in the school's history...spent the 2005-06 season at Jackson State University, appearing in 20 games as a reserve during his true freshman season for the Tigers...averaged 0.6 ppg and shot 50.0 percent from the field (6-for-12) in 3.5 minutes per game in his lone campaign at Jackson State.
